There’s attitude-a-plenty along its miles. Some may think it has a nostalgic charm, but don’t be deceived. The Triple Nickel has the feel of a time long ago.

It’s a throwback, a two-lane highway built in another era, originally a gravel road for farmers and small-town folk to get to the big cities of Zanesville or Belpre, back in the Depression years when you might find a Hudson or Studebaker puttering along its 63 miles, the driver cursing every twist and turn that today make it a destination for car and motorcycle enthusiasts. First on their list: Ohio State Route 555, also known as the Triple Nickel. They come straight from Car and Driver magazine, which in 2020 published a list of the dozen best driving (and riding!) roads in America. Prejudiced, you may be thinking, but these are not just my thoughts. No more than 10 miles from where I learned to ride a motorcycle is one of our country’s finest set of twists and turns.
I don’t recommend this place.Ohio State Route 555, also known as the Triple Nickel, has for a long time been a beacon, calling single riders or large groups from all corners to experience its challenge. I think this is a business, they keep failing student drivers for no reasons. Plus his behavior is so weird, he kept murmuring something all his time in the car. He has already decide not to proceed the test route. First time he said that I didn’t looked at the pedestrians when I made a right turn(they were not to cross the road) and second time he said that I was too close to the yellow line when I make the left turn( In here, before he take me to the test route, asked to make a left turn that is literally to the road where the specialized test office located) I wonder how he know that I am fail the exam in advanced. Both times he failed me for no reason, he seems to finish the test so quickly and go home soon 😂. People who work in the office are fine, but in here I have to point out one examiner Junaid as I remember his name, I took exam with him two times unfortunately, he is really irrational examiner. I don’t like to give at least single star.
